Welcome to DevoThoughts (which is just short for Devotional Thoughts)! This is simply me sharing my thoughts on different topics and subjects from a biblical and practical perspective. The purpose of this site is to provoke thought and hopefully lead you back to studying the scripture yourself. I encourage you to read these posts (or watch the videos) with an open mind and heart, but also put on your thinking caps and really chew on this food for thought. I’d love to hear (or more like read) your reflections on these thoughts.

The tagline “Think on these things…” is taken from the Bible verse Philippians 4:8, which says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” There’s a lot of things out there competing for our mind, from streaming platforms and social media to school and work obligations. But what occupies your mind? I hope that as you ponder upon these devotionals that you will be provided with something positive to fill your mind with, learn something from it, and spark a discussion.
